The datasets and files included were used for the study reported in (Rosenberg & Steele, PLOS One, 2017.) to investigate the simulated effects of walking with powered and passive ankle foot orthoses on muscle demand in children with crouch gait and typically-developing children. All files required to perform Static Optimization simulations of barefoot walking and walking with powered, passive and unactuated ankle foot orthoses are included for nine children with crouch gait and three typically-developing children.

The original release contains the datasets and files for 9 subjects with cerebral palsy and crouch gait and three typically-developing children. This package is supplemental to the original "Crouch Severity Simulations" (https://simtk.org/projects/crouchgait) and "Walking Speed Simulations" (https://simtk.org/projects/mspeedwalksims/). 

Included are:
1. All files needed to perform Static Optimization simulations of walking with powered, passive and unactuated ankle foot orthoses.
2. Additional Scaling, Inverse kinematics, RRA and Inverse Dynamics files for the typically-developing subjects. These datasets were not previously available on this page.
3. Results files used in the study reported in (Rosenberg & Steele, PLOS One, 2017.).
