Several data sets are provided, allowing you to recreate the simulation results shown in Figure 7 from either: 1) the initial MR data or 2) the geometric model and boundary condition files that are input into the finite-element simulation software. The data for Figures 4 and 5 are also provided.

MRI Data
MRI data acquired using a 1.5 T system (Signal, GE Medical Systems) and a head coil. Geometry and inlet velocity and flow measurements were used for generating simulation results. Other velocity and flow measurements were used for validation.

Output: Flow Measurements
Flow rate measurements were computed several different ways during this experiment: with an ultrasonic flow probe, with PC-MRI, and from finite-element simulation results. These measurements are provide in this package.

Flow measurements were made with an ultrasonic flow probe (Model 14C, Transonic Systems, Inc., Ithaca, NY) at multiple times during the experiment. An average cycle was computed for three different time points during the experiment and is presented in the Excel spreadsheet. This data enables the recreation of Figure 4 in the paper.

Flow measurements plotted in Figure 5 of the paper are provided in this Excel spreadsheet. Finite-element simulation data is averaged spatially and temporally, as described in the paper. Flow at 5 locations for the simulation data and at 6 locations for the PC-MRI data are included.
