This project focuses om understanding the differences in hip biomechanics between the general population and individuals with cerebral palsy (CP) through musculoskeletal modelling and gait analysis using OpenSim. OpenSim enables simulation and analysis of joint kinematics, muscle forces and movement patterns, providing a detailed understanding of gait mechanics. By identifying key discrepancies, the project aims to develop engineering solutions to improve mobility and quality of life for individuals with CP.
