Interests

In our research group we have been engaged in musculuskeletal modelling for over two decades. I have been involved in the development of the Delft Shoulder and Elbow Model (DSEM) and the Twente Lower Extremity MOdel (TLEM). In addition, we have developed FE musculoskeletal models of the pelvic floor and the eye, and are working on a model of the hand.
