This project is to help explain and understand the role of ankle plantarflexors during gait. Specifically it will focus on looking at the gastrocnemius muscles in comparison to the soleus muscle. Kinesiologists will be able to use this as a way to examine how different muscles, both considered plantarflexors contribute to human movement.
